Searching for a Christmas Tree Will Leave You Meeting A Few New Faces...

Happy Holidays everyone! Here's written treat to start the Christmas season this year, take a look.

The holiday season is here, the snow is falling and the stores are full of cheer. The only thing missing was a tree and a few decorations to fill the house around. Walking around the christmas tree farm all wrapped up in her favorite and a beanie covering her brunette curls, popping in her earbuds touching the leaves and pinecones until she found the one she wanted.

Then she did find one as she tried to pick it up huffing and grunting at the heavyweight of the tree as she heard a voice.

“Do you need any help, miss?” Said a semi-deep male voice as she turned around to meet tall matching hazel eyes and a wearing black beanie smiling at her with kind eyes.

“Oh um maybe a little.” She replied, chuckling a bit, moving out of the way for the guy to help her with the tree. Suddenly a little boy with green eyes and brown hair ran towards them and shouted, “Hey dad i found a-woah i like that one more.”

The man laughed a bit, picking up the tree looking at his son with a gentle smile saying “Nice bud! This tree is for the kind lady over there.” He pointed to the girl, “Say hi.”

“Hi, you got a pretty tree lady.” Said the little boy giggling friendly, “Maybe we can trade our tree for yours..?”

“Nathaniel! That’s not very nice, our tree is just as nice.” He turned to the girl apologetically, “Sorry he can be like that sometimes.”

She spoke up, chuckling, shaking her head and responding, “Not it’s fine, he seems to know what he wants.” She turned to the kid, “Say we were to trade, what would I get in return?”

The boy thought for a moment coming up with an idea, grinning, “You can get our tree and I will throw in some candy canes we brought too.”

“Deal, you got yourself a Christmas tree kid.”

He squealed in joy handing her the candy cane that was in his pocket as his father noticed exclaiming “Hey! Did you steal those from the truck?”

Maybe.” Nathaniel looked at his father with a smirk shrugging innounctly.

The girl laughed and shrugged at the father son relationship then said, “Hey i have to head home soon, so how about we trade trees and I will buy you guys one of the tree toppers they are selling out front?”

“I like that idea. Come on kiddo, let’s get out of here.” He replied, following them to the cash register with both trees as the girl helped his son pick out a star to put on the tree.

“That’s a good one sweetie.” She said to Nathaniel as they walked to the cash register paying for the tree topper while the guy paid for both trees.

Later on, the three of them arrived outside of the store laughing mid conversion and one would’ve thought they looked like a Hallmark movie family walking down the streets on Christmas Eve. He finished putting both trees in the back of the separate cars watching his son and her discuss their favorite action movies.

“That’s the last of it, thank you again for being a great sport and dealing with my kid.” He said picking up his son who stuck his tongue at his father jokengily.

“It was my pleasure, he’s a cute kid and it’s the least I can do for you helping out with my tree.” She replied smiling.

Nathaniel spoke up in a whining voice saying, “Dad, you forgot to ask if she wanted a candy cane too?”

“Kiddo, we already got one.” He chuckled then glanced at her grinning, “Um i didn’t get your name.” “Oh, it’s Avalon. Avalon Steel.” She said with a smile.

“Pretty nice, I’m Samuel and you already met my son.”

Avalon waved them goodbye as she got into her car. Samuel went to put his kid in his car seat watching as it started to snow.

“I like her dad.” Nathaniel said straight out with a serious smile.

“So do i bud, so do i.” He replied buckelting him in with a grin.
