Welcome back everyone! It’s the month of love, so what other way than to start it with the sweet but tragic story from William Shakespeare’s Romeo & Juliet. Enjoy!
Prince Samuel Woods was a wealthy guy with an amazing smile and looks. He wasn’t the partying type of course, that title belongs to his brother Daniel.
That now leads us to tonight's wonderful short story. The night this young man meets her. Avalon Stark, his family’s rival daughter.
Daniel sneaks them into one of Stark’s famous party’s as they wander around the palace walls and hopefully have a good time. Daniel found his lovely lover Chase and went dancing.
Sam walked around as he spotted a huge beautiful fish tank. He took in all the beauty of the fishes and water, when suddenly a young lady from the other side of the tank appeared. Beautiful. That’s how you would immediately describe her. They smiled softly at one another. Taking in each other’s beauty and gentle tension that held the room. Sparks lit up the room.
Sadly the moment didn’t last long as she was swiftly dragged away by her aunt Stacy as the young girl glanced back at the guy grinning softly.
“Come dance. Your partner awaits.” Stacy said as she rushed her away to the dance floor. Leaving Sam alone in his own trance, following them.
After a while, Sam was able to steal the girl away from her dancing partner, as they slowly danced for as long as possible.
“Your hand is unworthy of mine. If you’re offended by the touch of my hand, my lips are standing here like an innocent wish, ready for your kiss.” Samuel said, smiling.
“Smart man, however you don’t give your hands much credit, where credit is due. By holding your hand, that shows politeness. After all, holding one’s hand against another is a kiss.” Avalon replied please es ed.
“Hm, don’t saints and blushing pilgrims have lips too?”
“Why of course, lips that they use in prayer.”
“Well then, saint, let lips do what hands do. I’m praying for you to kiss me. Please grant my innocent prayers, so my faint doesn’t turn to despair.”
“Saints don’t move, when they grant prayers.”
“Then darling, don’t move while I act out my prayer.” Samuel grinned as he kissed her, “Now my sin has been taken from my lips by yours.”
“Oh dear, then do my lips now have the sin they took from you.” Avalon repiled, grinning back at him.
“Sin from my very own lips? You encourage crime with your sweetness. Give me my sin back.”
They kissed again as Avalon grabbed his collar fearlessly while Samuel snaked his arms around her waist, feeling sparks.
Once the kiss ended, they continued dancing until Stacy interrupted them stating, “Your mother craves a word with you.” She leads her niece away from the guy as Avalon keeps her glances back at Samuel.
He quickly soon realized the identity of the lovely lady he kissed as he muttered, “She’s a Stark…”
“His name is Samuel-” Stacy told her niece once they reached the stairs but was cut off by Avalon.
“And he’s a Woods…” She muttered, looking at him and left to speak with her mother.
