Marvel Studio's WandaVision: Episodes 1 Recap/Review! (SPOILERS)

It’s here and it’s wonderful! WandaVision is a charming beauty! The charming setting is this stylized 50’s sitcom having both characters play off one another like a dance.

The premise of the show is that Wanda and Vision having just settled into a domestic lifestyle in the suburban, living in the town of Westview. And by god, do they make a lovely pair!

The first episode we see the two of moving to town, trying to fit in but of course a few complications happen involving Vision’s boss. But I'll get to that later! Leading to the beginning of the episode,Wanda and Vision make jokes and both forget why a date on the calendar has a heart on it.

Wanda think it their anniversary or celebration or some sort, when actually it's the day where Vision’s boss comes over for a dinner but neither one of remember to be. Eventually Vision leaves for work as their new neighbor Agnes comes over and decides to help Wanda plan a surprise for Vision for their anniversary.

Then we cut to Vision at work as he discovers that the heart on the calendar meant, a dinner with his boss Mr. Hart as he quickly calls Wanda to inform her. But Wanda thinks he is talking about their anniversay instead. Uh no!

Cut to a fake commercial for a toaster! One that is called the ToastMate 2000 and it is from Stark Industries.

Is this what Howard Stark is selling in the 50's?! A toaster! Who approved of this?! Anyways, I loved it!

After the fun commercial break, Vision arrives home with his boss and wife, who walk in on something very unexpected! Wanda comes into the room dressed in a sexy dress, leaving Vision flabbergasted, not being able to take his eyes off of her!

Basically, Vision’s reaction to Wanda’s dress: my wife is so hot! Causing me to laugh up a storm with his reaction---like come on, Wanda looked gorgeous!

Shenanigans ensue as Wanda tries to cook them an amazing dinner. However, Wanda isn’t very good in the kitchen while Vision tries to entertain his boss and his boss’s wife involving hilariously’s singing together.

Surprisingly Mrs. Hart is more than happy to sing along with Vision while her hsuabnd, not so much.

But eventually of course it doesn’t work. Thankfully Wanda was able to use some magic and get dinner on the table. Deciding to make breakfast for dinner, in which Mrs. Hart comments "How European." as her husband was about to make a rude remark.

Once seated, Mrs. Hart starts asking them about Wanda and Vision’s story and they cannot make up anything that happened before they came to Westview. Not being able to remember anything at all! Mr. Hart starts asking them why they came here and once again, they couldn't answer for the life of them!

Soon eough, Mr. Hart chokes on his food as Mrs. Hart kept syaing over and over again to stop--and I'm like, really?! Help your husband for god's sake! But thankfully, Vision becomes the hero and save Mr. Hart from choking.

Thankfully all goes well in the end and Vision gets promoted while Wanda and him sigh in relief that the night is over. And of course if you seen the trailers you know what happens while the couple are sitting the couch.

Wanda creating wedding rings for the both of them and Vision kisses his wife. The loevly couple says "I do" to each other in the sweettest way possible! So cute!

Ending the first episode with a charming end-----oh wait, as the screen starts to zoom out, it’s clearly seen that someone is monitoring them! Most likely SWORD and of course how can I forget the lovely credits.

Overall, I throught the first episode was wonderful in every single way! Olsen and Bettany did a great job! You can really tell how much heart and soul they put into this, and this is just the first episode!

One can say that there are moments where Vision and or Wanda are carrying the show, but actually both of them are carrying the show beautifully!

And of course the Easter eggs! Stark Industries, Tom King’s Vision comic about Vision living a suburban lifestyle. Not just that, referencing Wanda’s Sokovian background and I Love Lucy End Credits.

Can't wait for what's in store, for future episodes and hopefully we will find out soon what else is happening inside the sitcom world?
